okayee. school was rather normal today. except for lang arts.
remember the article on that malay school girl who couldnt go to rgs because of her poor family background? well, many of my friends (sarah and jomain and eva) agreed that it was more benificial to be in an elite school then to be in a neighbourhood school.
i beg to differ.true, most of what we are learning in sec 1 and sec 2 are what they will be learning in sec 3 and sec 4. but the things that we cover are almost the same. the only difference is that we learn the topics at a earlier stage. that's all. what's so special?
i myself, for one, did not imagine i could get into an elite school. i was planning to go swiss cottage or nanhua if my results were really bad.
which turned out to be wrong.
and hey.
what about your career life being defined when you're in a elite school? you mean people in neighbourhood schools all go to polytechnics and hoho their life is ruined there? errrrr. that is so not true. some people in neighbourhood schools may be pretty much cleverer than we people in elite schools. and they turn out to have big hearts too.
and when they go out to find jobs, they might get better jobs than us too.
so what's with elite schools? people in them rule and the people in neighbourhood schools drool?
na-duh.ok. then we had band. damn funny lah. marilyn was taking attendance and then jasmine, jiaying and hui juan came in late.
and when
jasmine (tan) was coming in, marilyn was calling out
jasmine (poon)'s name.

OOPS!then the whole band was laughing. she said it with that
oh-so-apologetic look also lah. sheesh.

oh. and today we had sectionals with euphos. then we practiced fate of gods, persis, and 7th night! yay! eugenia, yanting and melissa play the euphos

than hui juan asked mrs sia whether she was going with us or not. then i think mrs sia very cool. she was like, "duh! and im bringing this creature called "husband" along. "

then melissa and jasmine were arguing over whether
geography or history was nicer.

rivers. so boring. and blah blah blah. they were arguing until very fast and very loud lorh. the sec 4s got very shocked then yooj and yanting keep staring at each other. melissa and jasmine can go join debate. sheesh. very loud can. jasmine was practically screaming. errrr.then ooh. jasmine very funny for something. but i forgot.
oh ya! eugenia kept asking us to prac then we kept slacking then whenever eugenia asked us to prac jasmine will say
"HUH? WHAT DID EUGENIA SAY? I CANNOT HEAR. COS TUBA AND EUPHOS TOO LOUD!!!"no one was playing tuba, only kexin was playing eupho. errrrrrrr.
sheesh. why i got such a retarted senior? i dont know.
but HAH! i just realised that most tuba players (except for jacey) are either gepers or malyasian scholars.
so that means all their heads have either tightened or loose screws. unlike double bassists! yay! me and jasmine are
normal! tuba players are
abnormal. :/
then we went back to band room for pack up. then horns passed by our classroom. then jiaying went to hide behind the door, and then jasmine didnt know. then xiaohui opened the door for jasmine. jiaying held the door open. then jasmine said: "stupid xiaohui, never leaver the door open for me. " :/ then when jasmine walked out with her double bass, jiaying boo-ed her. and jasmine
screamed lah. errr. then jiaying raced me to band room.
ERRRR. i carry bass, she carry what, a HORN?!?!? the weight difference is so much okayeee. jiaying bully her junior.
rawr. not fair.
then me and jasmine went home together. then i had no bus fare so she lended me money and said that i reminded her of jiaying. errr. why?
"cos got one time i took bus with jiaying. then jiaying damn stupid lah. she keep tapping her wallet, thinking that the ez link scanner was spoiled. so she opened her wallet. and you know what?
her ez-link card was not there. -.-
so she went and ask the bus -driver *in chinese* "uncle, how much is the bus fare?"
"45cents"
-she puts in 50 cents-
"not enough not enough! it's 55 cents!"
